Region 3’s Ecological Service line is filling two term Fish and Wildlife Biologist positions, one in East Lansing, Michigan, and one in either Madison, Wisconsin, or Green Bay, Wisconsin. This job announcement is open today, and will close on April 25.

This position will focus on Great Lakes Area of Concern (AOC) work. This person selected for this position will address Beneficial Use Impairments (BUI) related to fish and wildlife and address issues related to BUI removal and the eventual de-listing of AOCs. The incumbent will facilitate coordination and manage projects to provide new information to assess whether fish, wildlife, or other natural resources continue to be exposed to elevated levels of contaminants and are experiencing adverse impacts

This is a Term appointment, not-to-exceed 13 months, which can be extended for a total appointment of 4 years.
